In collaboration with Henrik Lebender, I designed the «wood.id» system. Our solution streamlines forest management and the traceability of logs. The scanner captures the cutting edge of logs and creates a digital identity from the individual tree ring pattern. As a result, the logs can be identified throughout the supply chain.
